Arabisch- Turks- Hebreeuws koor: Salaam, Shalom, Selam

Muziek verbindt; het Arabisch-Turks-Hebreeuws- Koor weet dit als geen ander. Onder leiding van Noam Vazana en Selim Dogru worden er muzikale verbindingen gelegd tussen de Arabisch Turkse en Hebreeuwse cultuur. Laat je meevoeren door de prachtige stemmen van dit bijzondere koor en geniet van de prachtige muziek.

Selim Dogru (1971) is componist, pianist en koordirigent. Hij groeide op in Istanbul te midden van de Turkse, Griekse, Armeense en Joodse buren en culturen. Deze multiculturele rijkdom neemt hij mee in zijn composities, waarin crossovers van klassieke en hedendaagse muziek, barok, wereldmuziek, elektronica en alle mogelijke combinaties een rol spelen.
Noam Vazana (1982) werd geboren in Jeruzalem en is zangeres, pianist, koordirigent en speelt trombone. Ze studeerde muziek in Tel Aviv en Amsterdam. Haar repetoire bestaat uit een groot spectrum van Jazz en Blues tot Midden- Oosterse en Noord-Afrikaanse muziek. 

Dit project wordt ondersteund door de Gemeente Amsterdam en Kerk en Wereld.

Dit project kwam tot stand als initiatief van van de Stichting KunstenDialoog. Zij heeft als doel een bijdrage te leveren aan kunst en cultuur en de dialoog tussen bevolkingsgroepen, culturen en nationaliteiten.

Selim Dogru (1971) is a composer. He grew up in Istanbul in the midst of Turkish, Greek, Armenian and Jewish neighbors and cultures. He incorporates this multicultural wealth in his compositions, in which crossovers of classical and contemporary music, baroque, world music, electronics and all possible combinations play a role.
Noam Vazana (1982) was born in Jerusalem and is a singer. She studied music in Tel Aviv and Amsterdam. Her repetoire consists of a wide spectrum from Jazz and Blues to Middle Eastern and North African music.

This project came about as an initiative of the Stichting Arts & Dialogue. Its aim is to contribute to art and culture and the dialogue between population groups, cultures and nationalities.
