During the pilot of the Voices in Verse Open Mic evening, with the theme: Full Life, we will give voice to our desire for life and fulfillment in the face of global suffering through spoken word, poetry, prose and music. In light of not only Keti Koti and Pride, but also the ongoing humanitarian crises in Palestine, Congo and Sudan join us for an evening to discuss life’s small and simple pleasures and to remember that although you might feel like you are dying you are not dead.

Tijdens de pilot van de Voices in Verse Open Mic avond met het thema “Full Life” (Vol Leven), geven we door middel van spoken word, poezie, proza en muziek een geluid aan onze drang naar leven te midden van wereldwijd leed. Met het oog op niet alleen Keti Koti en Pride, maar ook de voortdurende humanitaire crises in Palestina, Congo en Sudan bespreken we de kleine dingen in het leven. Zo helpen we onszelf herinneren dat we, ondanks dat het kan voelen alsof we sterven, niet dood zijn.
