Pedro Faria

Pedro was born in 2003 in V. N de Famalicão and began his organ studies at the age of 3 at Esmeriz music school with Sérgio Barbosa. In 2012, he started playing the violin with his father and later he joined CCM – Centro de Cultura Musical in the class of Cátia Sá.  In 2015 he was admitted in ARTAVE in the same teacher class.

During his studies, he had the opportunity to play in masterclasses with violinists Arik Braude, Ole Bohm, Andrei Mijlin, Augusto Trindade, Yuri Zhislin, Nuno Meira and Borika van den Booren.

Pedro participated in many youth orchestras: Orquestra Aproarte, Orquestra Festival Dias da Música, Orquestra Artave, Orquestra Jovem de Famalicão and he was leader of second violins section of the Royal Concertgebouworkest Young 2019.

In 2019, he was awarded with the first prize of the Artur Fernandes Fão International Competition and with a honorable mention of the Guimarães International Competition. In chamber music, his old quartet “Aurora” won the second prize of Prémio Jovens Músicos in 2021.

Currently, Pedro is studying at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in the class of Maria Milstein.

 

David Craveiro

David Craveiro was born in Coimbra in 2003. He started his piano studies in 2012 at the Conservatory of Music in Seia with Professor Hugo Passeira.

Between 2014 and 2018, he studied at the Centro de Cultura Musical (Santo Tirso) with teachers Sara Vilaça and Cristina Lima.

In 2018 he was admitted to the Porto Conservatory of Music, where he was under the guidance of professor Rosgard Lingardsson, until the year 2020.

He is currently studying in Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Professor Naum Grubert.

In the year of 2019, he participated in the Portogruaro International Music Festival having Master class with Professor Naum Grubert.

In 2020 he participated in the classic summer at CCB having master classes with professors Eldar Nebolsin and Henri Sigfridsson.

Throughout his career, he was requested in Masterclasses with professors such as Bin Wang, Constantin Sandu, Fausto Neves, Fernando Puchol, Jill Lawson, Katia Veekmans, Luís Pipa, Marian Pivka and Pedro Emanuel Pereira.
