Selim Dogru, artistiek leider van reART Ensemble, speelt even graag voor de koning als voor de kapper, componeert zowel voor symfonieorkest als voor zigeunerorkest.

Hij put uit Turkse muziek, zoals volksmuziek, klassieke muziek, filmmuziek, operette, musical, pop, Turkse Tango en jazz. Dogru gaat van Ottomaanse muziek tot Turkse én Nederlandse pop van nu, combineert tijdloze liederen en instrumentale stukken met nieuw eigen werk.

Elke dinsdagavond ontvangt hij andere gasten, die ieder een andere kant van de Turkse cultuur laten zien. Volg het evenement om te weten wat vanavond op het programma staat.

Discover the richness that Turkish culture has to offer.
Selim Dogru, artistic director of reART Ensemble, likes to play both for the king and the hairdresser, composes for symphony orchestra as well as for gypsy orchestra.

He draws on Turkish music, such as folk music, classical music, film music, operetta, musical, pop, Turkish Tango and jazz. Dogru goes from Ottoman music to Turkish and Dutch pop music, recorded timeless songs and instrumental pieces with new own work.
