The One Hand Sound is the recent in a series of collaborations between two established figures in the Israeli dance scene: dancer Yochai Ginaton and choreographer Sharona Florsheim. This joint work is designed to explore the concepts of presence and absence and how the two emerge one from the other and define each other. Sharona and Yochai seek to highlight this game of existence and non existence looking for ways to create a simultaneous awareness of both as they manifest through one another. They are looking for this allusive moment where the visible renders the invisible and a new perspective appears in this dance of shifting perception.
